Starring Xosé A. Touriñán and David Perdomo, two leading figures in Galician comedy, Corentena: Game Over is presented as the first "theatrical video game" in history. The show has captivated audiences since its premiere in early March 2025, selling over 10,000 tickets on its first tour. The production is by Ainé , one of Galicia's most established performing arts companies.

Ainé has established itself as the leading performing arts producer in Galicia, attracting over 60,000 spectators annually in the region alone. For this innovative production, they've partnered with Sonpress as their technology partner to integrate a T-Rent 3.9 L LED screen into a highly unconventional stage design. Measuring 18 square meters, the screen becomes a key element of the show, allowing the comedians to interact in real time while the audience actively participates.

In recent years, Ainé has been behind some of Galicia's most successful theatrical productions. Her career includes such renowned titles as Unha noite na praia, Fariña, and Corentena itself. However, it was with Somos Criminais that they achieved a historic milestone: becoming the highest-grossing show in Galician theater, surpassing 120,000 spectators.

Behind these achievements lies not only artistic vision but also technical expertise, where Sonpress has been a key partner. Based in Carballo (A Coruña) and with over 30 years of experience, this company has been involved in productions and events, providing technical support and technological solutions.

The collaboration between Ainé and Sonpress is based on a shared commitment to quality and innovation. Together, they work closely on productions that captivate thousands of viewers every weekend. Mutual trust and team coordination are key to this success, supported by ongoing investment in technology, such as Sonpress's integration of Traulux LED screens.

Although Ainé had previously explored resources such as sound, projection, and lighting, it was with the premiere on March 7th that the opportunity arose to go a step further: integrating a large-format Traulux LED screen directly onto the stage. Thus, Corentena: Game Over, the first theatrical video game in history, was born.

The T-Rent 3.9 L cabinets stand out for their excellent image quality and durability, making them the ideal choice for demanding, temporary installations. Their ease of assembly, disassembly, and transport perfectly suits the needs of Corentena: Game Over, which will tour eight Galician cities between March and June. New locations will be added in the fall to continue bringing this innovative theatrical experience to audiences. Furthermore, the cabinets incorporate corner protectors that prevent damage to the LED lamps and masks, thus ensuring greater durability.

Video processing is handled by Novastar electronics, supplied by Charmex . The VX1000 and VX600 processors deliver precision and a superior viewing experience. These devices feature upscaling, low latency, and 3D capabilities to provide excellent image visualization.

Thanks to the addition of these LED cabinets and their advanced electronics, Ainé will be able to expand the use of this technology in future shows and events, both indoors and outdoors. One of the upcoming venues will be the Castelo Conta festival, one of Galicia's most prominent cultural events, which will celebrate its tenth edition this coming August.

The combination of artistic talent, cutting-edge technology, and a shared vision between Ainé and Sonpress has resulted in an unprecedented theatrical experience in Galicia. Thanks to Traulux screens, which offer exceptional image quality and durability, this collaboration paves the way for a more immersive, interactive, and engaging approach to theater, adapted to the new languages of entertainment.
