Traulux illuminates Cajasiete's new headquarters in Tenerife with LED screens

Cajasiete's new headquarters boast an ambitious architectural project where technology and design are seamlessly integrated. The space is structured around a circular light sculpture of Traulux LED screens that rises from the center of the two-story building, visible from every angle and immediately capturing the attention of visitors upon entering. The installation extends to the ceiling, creating a luminous, dynamic, and almost hypnotic atmosphere.

Can technology become architecture? The remodeled Cajasiete headquarters in Santa Cruz de Tenerife proves that it can. From a majestically opening lobby to a completely renovated auditorium and press room, the project combines innovation, design, and state-of-the-art LED technology that transcends the purely corporate.

A lobby that redefines space

The main feature is a wraparound column 6.56 meters high, 4.16 meters in circumference and 1.32 meters in diameter, composed of a circular LED screen Tflex pitch 1.8mm, integrated with a Ufix Avant 1.8mm ceiling LED screen of 4.8 x 5.1 meters.

Each ceiling module incorporates additional safety straps, designed to ensure stability and prevent falls. Both screens are framed within a custom-made circular structure that provides a spectacular finish. The entire system is complemented by an automated system with Novastar equipment , which precisely controls every power-up, brightness, and visual transition.

Behind this intervention is a process of nearly two years of joint work between AVisuales as AV integrator and Charmex, provider of the entire customized solution, from the initial concept to the final configuration and commissioning.

“We have listened to the needs of the end customer and have taken care of the entire process: study, consulting, engineering, design, industrial manufacturing of structures, planning, installation, connection, automation, configuration and commissioning,” explains Gerardo Alonso, CEO of AVisuales.

He adds, "Every LED project is a prototype. In this case, the circular structure had to be integrated into a pre-existing building, adapting to its geometry while maintaining the essence of the whole. With a rather novel and elegant design, it brings technological innovation. This project was a real challenge: calculating the weight and loads of the circular structure required meticulous engineering work."

Custom-made with the Traulux range, these creative LED displays not only inform but also transform the space into an architectural element: a light sculpture that defines the building's character and draws the eye to the project's heart. The 320 x 160 mm Tflex 1.8 modules incorporate magnets that attach to cabinets specifically designed for installation, ensuring precise and reliable assembly.

Traulux creative LED displays bring the client's imagination to life, designing completely customized solutions. Every detail is evaluated to ensure the stability of the installation, demonstrating that Traulux's flexibility brings not only creativity but also technical reliability.

The result: 533 flexible modules in the column and 120 Ufix Avant 1.8 cabinets in the ceiling, carefully assembled, each integrated into a circular metal structure designed from scratch to support the weight and curvatures of the piece.

The installation: evolution tailored to needs

The project also evolved conceptually. What was initially planned as a tree in the operations yard, accompanied by a small vertical screen, ended up transforming into this immersive installation of monumental scale. “The idea of the tree something became more contemporary,” adds Gerardo Alonso.

The entire project required 388 hours of work, equivalent to almost 50 days of intensive assembly, with rigorous technical control, structural adjustments, and visual testing. The project includes a maintenance commitment and a five-year warranty, while the architectural design transforms each screen into a focal point that highlights the space and reinforces the financial institution's identity.

Spaces that engage with light and technology

With the official opening, the effect has been immediate. During the tests, the lobby remained covered with fabric to maintain secrecy. “When it was finally revealed, the employees were amazed,” says Alonso.

"It's not an information screen, it's an architectural presence that changes the atmosphere of the place. If you project a seascape, the space becomes almost liquid; if you use warm images, the atmosphere becomes welcoming."

Now Cajasiete's headquarters also serves as a venue for corporate events, cocktail parties, and brand presentations, transforming technological architecture into a tool for communication, identity, and emotion.

Beyond the lobby, the headquarters integrates offices, business areas, an auditorium, and a press room, visually and functionally connecting all levels. Several spaces benefit from the versatility of Traulux screens, which allow for setting the atmosphere according to the theme and needs.
