Its recent distribution agreements with manufacturers such as Roland ProAV, Epson and LG Business Solutions, together with partners such as Samsung, Kramer, Novastar and Christie, allow Charmex to offer a complete portfolio with a wide variety of displays.
“We are excited about the prospects we have with our partners, always backed by our team, which provides support throughout the whole process: from demonstration and training to commissioning the solutions and our own after-sales technical service. That is the Charmex added value,” the company explains.
New LED for fixed installation
The new ranges of LED panels from its Traulux brand for fixed installation indoors, Qfix and outdoors, J-Fix are ideal for broadcast, streaming and advertising environments thanks to their high refresh rate. All of them can be configured to suit each project.
On the one hand, the Qfix LED panels are designed for indoor installation and are available with a pixel pitch of 1.86 mm and 2.5 mm, with a cabinet size of 640x480x60 mm.
On the other, the J-Fix displays are available in 50×50 and 50×100 formats, weighing 34 kg/m2 and 80 millimetres thick. They also support high refresh rates for use in broadcast environments, as well as in sports applications where good on-camera performance is required.

Streaming and hybrid events
Among the new products for these formats, which have grown this year, is the Roland V-1200 broadcast kit. It consists of the Roland Pro V-1200HD video switcher and its remote control. The V-1200HD is a complete, flexible multi-format switcher that offers full control over video sources, key layers and mix engine configurations.
For hybrid production, Roland has launched the V-160HD multi-channel HD switcher, with built-in streaming capabilities. This portable solution is packed with professional features to tackle any modern production, setting a new standard in hybrid event switching.
It is ideal for going live in Full HD with comprehensive SDI and HDMI I/O and streaming simultaneously to any popular web platform via USB-C. The V-160HD also features an eight-layer video effects engine, a 40-channel digital audio mixer and built-in PTZ camera control, plus state-of-the-art cue management and live show automation functions that simplify the toughest production tasks.
The Charmex portfolio also includes a professional monitor designed specifically for broadcast, the OLED 65EP5G from LG Business Solutions. It has been developed to meet a variety of use cases and workflows in content production, post-production and distribution.
The 65EP5G builds on the capabilities of LG’s OLED displays, recognised with a Technology and Engineering Emmy award, and adds further features and functions to meet the needs of professionals. It offers advanced calibration to achieve top display performance, and image quality enabled by LG’s SuperSign for White Balance software.
As part of its support for the channel, over the past year Charmex set out to help dealers adapt to the new ways of presenting with a virtual set for delivering these presentations in a professional and effective way.
The set consists of a 1000 x 2000 mm LED display with installation and transport accessories, a Novastar MCTRL300 LED controller, a Samsung professional monitor with stand, a Sony or Roland Pro video switcher, a PTZ camera, a lapel microphone, a microphone mixer and Kramer video cabling. The proposal is a virtual, non-face-to-face space in which to stay in touch with customers and reinforce the corporate image through the screen.
Immersive experiences
Charmex also offers immersive and interactive technology, marketing the new
EB-PU1000 from Epson. These are versatile 8,500-lumen projectors, sold as «body only», which pair perfectly with the existing Epson lens family to deliver bright, lifelike images in a wide variety of settings: from tourist attractions to auditoriums, trade fairs and museums. The EB-PU1008B, with its high lumen count, offers WUXGA resolution with 4K enhancement, HDR and advanced installation features.
Its compact size also makes it a more portable model that needs less storage space. Its discreet design blends in with most environments and is available in white and black.
UHD switchers
From Novastar the highlight is the NovaPro UHD Jr, which integrates video processing, sending to LED displays at resolutions of up to 3840×2160 and the control system in a single product. This scaler has multiple 4K inputs and 4K sending capacity and, thanks to its powerful, intuitive software, allows all signal inputs to be managed in up to 6 layers. These features make it ideal for live events, rental and high-quality fine-pitch applications.
As for connectivity, Charmex offers transmitters and receivers for 3G HD−SDI, as well as the Aspen-32UFX switching matrix, a solution capable of countless custom configurations, designed for connecting SDI signals of up to 12G.
The 690T is a high-performance fibre optic transmitter for SDI video signals up to 3G HD−SDI. This device converts two 3G HD−SDI signals to single-mode fibre optic and the 690R receiver converts them back to their original SDI format. Compatible with the VS−88FO fibre optic matrix.
And the Aspen-32UFX switching matrix, a solution capable of countless custom configurations, designed for connecting SDI signals of up to 12G. Ideal for use in live events, rental, remote broadcasting and TV studios. This matrix is easy to use and control via the web and its RS-232 port.

Finally, Charmex has resumed its events so that the channel can discover the latest products and put their questions to product specialists, both from Charmex itself and from the manufacturers. These customer open days, by appointment, are being held in turn in Barcelona, Madrid, the Basque Country and Galicia.
In addition, with the aim of always providing the best service, Charmex has made a web page available where interested parties can register to request a demo or a visit to its showrooms in Barcelona and Madrid.
