Founded in 2015, Miraveo has established itself as a leading audiovisual production company in Galicia, known for its creativity and its use of cutting-edge technology. As part of its constant evolution, the agency has renewed its physical and chroma key backdrops, as well as replacing its previous screen system with the addition of the LED display Traulux T-Rent 2.6 LITE, supplied by Charmex.
With a 2.6 mm pixel pitch and a 3840 Hz refresh rate, this technology guarantees exceptional image quality and is ideal for flicker-free use on television. Its brightness, adjustable between 800 and 1,200 nits, and its 10,000:1 contrast ratio deliver deep blacks and natural colours in any kind of production.
As Miraveo points out, the 160° viewing angles ensure maximum visibility from any point in the studio, a key feature for virtual productions in which, using tracking systems, the camera changes perspective, making it essential to maintain constant brightness and definition across the whole viewing angle.
In addition, the flexible T-Rent assembly system allows curved configurations to suit different recording formats, bringing versatility and dynamism to every project.
The adaptation process was both technical and creative. One of the main challenges was designing content suited to the different screen formats, which in some cases had very varied and unconventional dimensions, requiring specific renders for each piece.
The integration of this LED technology is part of Miraveo’s strategy of offering cutting-edge audiovisual solutions to its clients, enabling high-visual-impact productions with the highest technical guarantees.
Among the most important improvements that have come from using T-Rent displays in their productions, they cite shorter post-production times: generating virtual sets in real time minimises the need for digital retouching. And greater versatility and realism in productions, as they can change sets instantly without having to build physical scenery.
“This new equipment raises the quality of our projects and expands the creative possibilities in the studio. With this LED display, we consolidate our position as a benchmark in the Galician audiovisual sector and strengthen our commitment to innovation,” says Jairo Aldana Alborés, CEO of Miraveo.
Miraveo, with a solid track record in audiovisual production, making television programmes, advertising campaigns and corporate events, continues to make a difference in the audiovisual sector with latest-generation infrastructure and technology. And they hope to keep exploring the possibilities of this technology, integrating interactive and extended reality (XR) solutions. “We are also open to collaborating with other sectors that could benefit from this innovation in their audiovisual productions,” they conclude.
